So try to avoid these things especially during the peak hours. Rubbing the juice of garlic over the exposed areas can prevent mosquito from biting. Also there are many essential oils available today which are highly capable in chasing off the mosquitoes like citronella oil, eucalyptus oil, lemon oil etc.
Mosquito proofing your home by draining off the stagnant water and installing and repairing the windows and doors are also highly essential for keeping away the mosquitoes. If you find any dead bird, report it immediately to the local authorities as these may be a sign that West Nile infection is circulating among the birds.
